The project consists in the interior remodelling of this restaurant located near the Yacht Club of Can Picafort.
Previously the restaurant had a dark look with wood paneling, an excess of traditional seafaring decoration and a blend of furniture and lighting very old and unpleasant.
The main objective was to completely change the style of the restaurant transforming it into an attractive, contemporary restaurant with a seafaring style and, at the same time, modern and fresh, trying to take advantage of existing details.
From the outside access you can sense intentions of the design: the railing with cleats and natural rope, together with the structure of iron and reeds suspended from the roof including indirect lighting, convey lightness and humility, transporting you in the relaxed atmosphere of sea port.
The interior layout has not changed, but main intervencions have completely changed the restaurant: the new floor of laminate oak parquet, the change in the color of the walls and wood paneling white lacquered, and the typical ceiling vaults also painted white, have provided to the space the brightness required to feel the freshness and pleasant feeling of being close to the sea.
Sideboards, shelves, long bench and the dining tables are as a whole and are made to measure, taking into account the existing furniture pieces that had to take, such as wicker chairs. Also we have chosen the model bicolor chairs and stools for indoor dining area that combine perfectly, giving a modern touch.
Lighting is one of the most original details, made from rope and decorative Iight bulbs, suspended from the ceiling over the dining tables. In addition, indirect lighting plays a very important role as it is responsible to decorate all the space in a pleasant and unique way, creating a sense of cozy serenity.
